Qualified candidates should be a Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) with a minimum of five years’ managerial experience in sleep medicine. Continuing education in sleep medicine is required and respiratory therapy experience is preferred. The candidate should be knowledgeable of AASM credentialing and re-accreditation processes, and must have monthly and capital budgeting experience.
This position requires technical expertise with sleep disorders equipment and troubleshooting ability. The Sleep Disorders Center manager serves as lead liaison with staff, clinics, physicians, DME companies, Respiratory Care director and others. The manager must possess strong communication and training skills.
