I have treated 4 patients with central sleep apnea/Cheyne-Stokes. All have done surprisingly well with AHI’s less than 5 on ASV. Half of the patients were previously tried on CPAP +/- BiPAP with backup rates – without success I was wondering if everybody else has had similiar experiences. I am guessing that ASV is going to set the standard with CSA. July 11, 2014 at 4:09 pm #13757 NickOsteoMember Definitely agree with this suggestion. I can’t remember the last time that a patient with CSR was effectively treated with CPAP/BiPAP. I mean …..real central/Cheyne Stokes. Not mixed.
