ASA Charitable Work – Sleeping Children Around the World – Sri Lanka 2016
American Sleep Association (ASA) is proud to support the non-profit organization, Sleeping Children Around the World (SCAW).
This year, ASA helped SCAW to distribute bedkits to children in Sri Lanka. Each bedkit contains a mat or mattress, a mosquito net to combat malaria and other mosquito-born diseases, a schoolbag and school supplies, and clothing/footwear.
ASA Charitable Efforts: Sleeping Children Around the World 2016 – Sri Lanka
Sleeping Children Around the World has delivered more than 1.4 million bedkits to children around the world who do not have resources that allow for a comfortable and safe sleeping environment. Since 1970, SCAW has raised over $40 million to provide help to children in 34 countries. 100% of all bedkit donations go directly to the children.
As part of its charitable mission, American Sleep Association will support and promote SCAW. We will highlight stories from Sleeping Children Around the World and show how you can help make a difference.
