Dr. Krainin – my adult daughter, has struggled with the need to sleeping excessively. She typically sleeps 12-15 hours a night. In spite of this, she has obtained a masters degree but is only able to work part-time. Her need for excessive sleep is effecting her life in many ways. Can you recommend a sleep physician who specializes in this area? I read your brief bio at the American Sleep Association webpage and realize this is not specifically your area, but look to you for advice. Thank you in advance.
